OUR SAFETY BRIEFING FOR EACH VESSEL AND TRANSFER

At Sima Charters, safety is our highest priority. Our procedures, vessel design, and crew training are all focused on ensuring safe and reliable operations for every transfer.

The following safety instructions must be followed at all times to ensure the safety of all passengers and crew on board.

  • Emergency muster point is situated on the aft deck.
  • Lifejackets must be worn at all times when outside the accommodation.
  • In case of an incident, always follow the instructions of the crew.
  • Smoking is prohibited inside the vessel. Please check with the master if smoking is permitted on deck.
  • When transferring to or from the vessel, always follow the instructions of the deckhand.
  • When leaving the vessel, leave all luggage with our deckhand(s). You need both hands free for yourself.
  • If you see anything unusual, please inform the crew immediately.
  • Be aware of unexpected movements of the vessel.
  • Remain seated at all times. Please ask the crew if you wish to leave your seat.

Complimentary tea and coffee (weather permitting) are available on board

Anyone believed to be under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol will NOT be permitted on board.

During the winter season, when seawater temperatures are below 10°C, a transfer suit will be provided and must be worn during ship-to-ship transfers.
