Our field of work is diverse, we work for oil and gas companies, shipping companies and we can be found in various offshore wind farms and construction projects. We mainly operate our CTV’s in NW Europe. Through our growth we are looking for strengthening our fleet with new CTV Masters and (trainee) Deckhands.

Sima Charters is looking for motivated personnel with experience, but also young talented people are welcome with us. Sima Charters is open for employment of new personnel or proposals from self-employed persons. Proposals by employment agencies are not appreciated.

AS A CTV MASTER, YOU;

  • Function as company representative on site and on board
  • Operates, manoeuvres and controls the vessel
  • Navigational operations with the vessel: transport of personnel or cargo
  • Organising and execution of regular safety drills, meetings and inspection rounds
  • Leads deckhands in the execution of work
  • Maintain the company’s safety and quality management system

CTV MASTERS SHALL BE IN POSSESSION OF;

  • Masters CoC <500 GT STCW (or higher)
  • UK CeC or RYA Yachtmaster Offshore
  • GMDSS license (GOC preferred)
  • STCW training; Basic Safety Training, Advanced Fire Fighting, Proficiency in Survival Crafts and Rescue Boats
  • Seafarers Medical Certificate
  • STCW Medical First Aid
  • STCW Medical Care
  • Slinger Banksman Course (Preferred)
  • Seaman’s book
  • Drivers licence (Preferred)
  • Offshore wind experience
  • Experience manoeuvring different propulsion systems (Preferred)

CANDIDATES SHALL HAVE;

  • Positive and professional work attitude;
  • Good communication skills;
  • Pro-active problem-solving skills;
  • Fluently in English written and spoken;
